Grover Jebson
24145445 J/Pte David Grover Jebson died on the 30 May 1970,
aged 15, following an accident at the Pirbright Training Area.
Interned on 4 June 1970 at St. Barbara's Church Deepcut. Plot D-3; Row 1
J/Pte David Grover Jebson is the last Junior Leader remaining at Deepcut.

Monty Wood - the RSM - aked me to go with Maj Muson ATO and help recover the remains of
David ... At the site of the incedent Major Muson had to clear a number of mortar rounds and .energa blinds from the site befor we could start ....
On this day David was with his mate J/Cpl Peter Cox who was also badly injured.
It was a sports day. I was 21, not much older than both of these kids.

When I visited Deepcut in June of this year, His Regimental
headstone looked like it could do with a bit of a clean.
